I hereby declare that Victoria tops my “Favourite Author Lists” of 2021. I can tell by reading this one book that she writes one of the best fantasy books. This book is perfecttt.
First installment of the series was mainly about character and world building. Nothing really happened for at least 50-60 pages apart from prologue. Romance is almost nil but Victoria is definitely building it oh so slowly.
