It is a very interesting and unique story about a boy who always wants to save others. I had a binge reading session with this book with book. This book explains the consequences of always playing hero and adversities when you let go of that notion altogether.
Tomson, through Joshua, explains that like everything else, we should find a balance in our belief of being hero as well. Is it the right time to take a stand ? Should I ignore it ?ย
We should be able to understand the difference in circumstances and make the judgment accordingly. If you’re being disrespect, your values are being questioned or if you’re getting accused of something you didn’t do then take stand. Don’t compromise with your self-respect. We should also try to see the situation from the other person’s perspective to help us understand the situation wisely. This is how you know when it is the right time to speak up.
